Anna was lost when she came across a large mansion. Skipping up to the door with a smile she rang to doorbell. Hoping the owner or owners of the house would be able to lend her a hand.
Anna looked up at the man with the odd device on his face with a smile. Waving her hand in greeting. “Hello! I’m Annabel, but my nickname is Anna. It’s nice to meet you!”
His mind was a blank on this one. The… girl, if you could call such a device a girl, was certainly not one of his Cybermen; yet, she was not inside the Doctor’s memories. By her behavior, the ‘Doctor’ hazarded a guess that she didn’t know him, either. “Can’t find you in the system. Doctor hasn’t heard of you… What are you? Some kind of..” He stepped forward and pressed a finger onto the other’s forehead, feeling cold metal and frowning at the feeling. “Never seen your kind, girly. Besides, didn’t robo-mummy ever tell you not to talk to strangers?”
Anna crossed her eyes. Watching the finger as it poked her forehead. “Um, I’m a automaton. And I don’t have a robo-mommy. Ah, but Papa used to tell me that it was bad to talk to strangers. But you’re not a stranger if you introduce yourself right?”
“Ah, um I was asleep for a few months, and when I woke up he was gone. S-so I think whatever it was that put me to sleep might have scared him off. Or, um he might be searching for it.” She had a feeling something happened to him, but she was scared to voice it. “Ah! But he might not be a unicorn all the time! He used to be this cat bunny hybrid doll thing. So he might look like that. He can also be very rude when he talks.”
“Well, if I see him I will be sure to let him know you’re looking for him.” Doc smiled a little, amused. What a curious imagination this girl had! And well, if this talking doll of hers was real, even more so curious. “May I ask why you were asleep for so long though?” Perhaps that might explain the strange imagination of the child bot.
“Thank you! And well, I’m not sure why I was asleep. I don’t really remember. But I think it had to do with something with yellow eyes.”
Anna looked up and tilted her head to the side as he did. “Um, exploring? I’m trying to find my friend. He’s this stuffed toy unicorn named Raggimuffin. I think he ran away. Oh! He also talks. Um, h-have you seen him?”
Doc chuckled, unaware that Anna was being literal, and shook his head. “No, I’m afraid I have not. I will be certian to keep a lookout for your little friend, however.” His hands tucked behind his back. “Why would this friend of yours run away?” He asked, if only to humor her.
“Ah, um I was asleep for a few months, and when I woke up he was gone. S-so I think whatever it was that put me to sleep might have scared him off. Or, um he might be searching for it.” She had a feeling something happened to him, but she was scared to voice it. “Ah! But he might not be a unicorn all the time! He used to be this cat bunny hybrid doll thing. So he might look like that. He can also be very rude when he talks.”
Anna smiled brightly “Hello! I’m Annabel! But my nickname is Anna. It’s nice to meet you Doc!” She had no idea of his ill intentions, holding her bright carefree smile.
“The pleasure is all mine, dear Anna.” He gave a small bow. Ah, what innocence! How enjoyable would it be to corrupt her? He couldn’t help but wonder if she would end up like Dell… “So, what brings you here little one?” Doc asked, head tilting to the side.
Anna looked up and tilted her head to the side as he did. “Um, exploring? I’m trying to find my friend. He’s this stuffed toy unicorn named Raggimuffin. I think he ran away. Oh! He also talks. Um, h-have you seen him?”
Well well well! Wasn’t this a surprise? Doc’s eye glimmered at the sight of the small child bot, a warm smile crossing his face to mask dark intentions. “Well hello there my dear. I am Doctor Wingman, however you can simply call me Doc. Who might you be?” He asked with a hum, looking down at her.
Anna smiled brightly “Hello! I’m Annabel! But my nickname is Anna. It’s nice to meet you Doc!” She had no idea of his ill intentions, holding her bright carefree smile.
